In December, PC Gamer will return to its annual countdown of the top 25 games to be released in 2025.

The list of “Most Wanted” games was chosen by a group called “The Council,” made up of over 80 influential gaming industry editors and “luminaries,” who voted on the games currently in development that they believe are the most exciting. [PC Gaming Show Editorial Director Jake Tucker said in a press release, “Once again, we've brought together some of the most creative and respected people in PC gaming to shine a spotlight on upcoming games that you should be excited about. We've got some of the biggest games of 2025 coming out, and we're excited to share them with you. We have incredible exclusives and close looks at some of the biggest games of 2025 that we can't wait to share with our audience.”

Panelists included Brian Fargo (InXile Entertainment), Caroline Marchal (INTERIOR/NIGHT), Victoria Tran (Innersloth), Devorah Wilde (actor), John Romero (Romero Games), Hannah Flynn (Failbetter Games), Dave Oshry (New Blood Interactive), Robert Yang (Independent), CohhCarnage (Content Creator, Twitch), DieHardDiva ( content creator, Twitch), Sid Meier (Firaxis Games), Tanya X. Short (Kitfox Games), Tanya DePass (Monolith Productions), David Gaider (Summerfall Studios).

Hosted by esports commentator Frankie Ward, the show will showcase selected games and provide trailers, information and announcements about the included projects. Tyler, who narrated Baldur's Gate 3.
