“Severance” Season 2 has already begun with a bang.
The thriller, which aired on Apple TV Plus, was a huge hit when its debut season aired in 2022. However, despite occasional previews, there was almost total silence from the halls of Lumon. The last we heard was in July, when Apple finally announced a release date for Season 2 of “Severance.”
Yesterday, however, we received news of a major announcement: the release of “Severance” Season 2, which will be released in July.
The July release date trailer didn't give us much more information, but it did give us our first look at Gwendoline Christie in an unannounced role.
However, she is not in this new teaser trailer. Instead, we see Mark Scout (Adam Scott) running around the white halls of Lemont's “disconnected” floor, with dialogue as narration, reminding us of the shocking revelation at the end of season one.
But when Mark suddenly stops, a major revelation is made. The team of Dylan George (Zach Cherry), Irvin Bailiff (John Turturro), and Helly Riggs (Britt Lower) are gone, replaced by an unfamiliar face. But when Mark asks who they are, a familiar face appears and supervisor Seth Milhick (Tramel Tillman) welcomes him to the floor.
Apple reminds us that he will be “back at work” on January 17, 2025, but after a big surprise, we don't get much more than that. However, the Apple TV Plus description does mention that Saraha Bock will be joining the show as a series regular. It is unclear what role she will play, but we hope it will be an important one.
