Bruce Springsteen, who some say was born to run, shows no signs of slowing down as he turns 75. “The Road Diaries: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band” takes fans behind the scenes of the legendary New Jersey rock band and his 50-year career, available worldwide on Disney Plus beginning October 25.
Part concert film, part documentary, “The Road Diary” features interviews with Bruce and the band and plenty of footage from their electrifying world tour in 2023-24. It follows Bruce Springsteen and the band's first tour since 2017. Postponed twice due to the pandemic, Bruce says in the film that his goal after “COVID” was to throw “the biggest party possible.”
“The Road Diaries,” co-produced by Springsteen and directed by Tom Jimeney, has plenty of rock anthems to sing along to, but also more intimate moments. Viewers also get a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals.
