“Cobra Kai” Season 6 will air in three parts with the second installment on Thursday, November 15. The third and final installment, scheduled for 2025, ranges from student-turned-teacher Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) to fellow “Karate Kid” members Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), John Crease (Martin Cove), and Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto), Familiar faces will appear in the film.
However, several new characters will be added as the film takes place at the World Championships, a major karate tournament held in Barcelona, Spain, from Miyagi-Do in Los Angeles, California.
Deadline recently reported that British actor and martial artist Luis Tan, known for his roles in the films “Deadpool vs. Wolverine” and “Mortal Kombat” and the TV series “Shadow and Bone” and “Wu-Assassin,” is a rival dojo in the Sekai Tai-Kai tournament. He joins the cast as Sensei Wolf, who is believed to be one of the instructors of the rival dojo of the Sekai Tai Kai tournament. Fans of “Cobra Kai” will also meet some of Sensei Wolfe's karate students later in Season 6, including Axel Kovacevic (played by Patrick Lewis) and Zara Malik (played by Raina Vallandingham). Lewis has worked on the Hulu miniseries “The Dropout” and the film “Rebel Moon,” while Vallandingham is a YouTube personality and black belt martial artist who has won 12 world champion titles at the youngest age.
As viewers already know, in the mid-season finale, both Miyagi-Do and Cobra-Kai dojos officially made it to the world championships, and one big surprise cliffhanger (warning: spoilers ahead!) left us with: former Miyagi-Do student Tory Nichols (Peyton List) seems to have once again fallen into Cleese's net and shows up at the World Championships as a student of the rogue dojo.
And given how intense Sekai Taikai can be for young competitors, the added drama of personal betrayal is the last thing karate practitioners need to deal with before taking the mat. Entering part two, Barcelona's Sekai Taikai, the biggest and craziest martial arts competition that exists in the “Karate Kid” franchise. It's not just a traditional event like we've seen at All Valley.” There is so much more going on, both on and off the mat.” Season 6 part 2 of “[Cobra Kai]” comes to Netflix on November 15, with five new episodes.
