As we head into the summer, we've seen a deluge of new movies debuting on Netflix and Prime Video every week turn into a trickle But the best streaming services still have a lot of movies worth watching, both classic and new releases 

Leading this week's pack is hulu's "The First Omen," a surprisingly awesome horror prequel that can retain the original Disney Plus dives into the illustrious career and troubled personal life of the famous muppet and Sesame Street puppeteer "Jim Henson: The Idea Man" The gory and irreverent "Boy Kills World" lands on the video-on-demand service this week Meanwhile, George Clooney's "The Boy in the Boat" arrives in Prime Video, and the adorable mystery film "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" makes its Netflix debut

The Oscar-winning "Godzilla Minus One" is finally on a streaming platform outside of Japan As someone blown away by it in the theater (I never thought Godzilla movies would leave me blubbering mess), how I share it with friends and family Well, at least not legal

George Clooney steps into the director's chair for the somewhat sleepy biographical sports drama "The Boy on the Boat," based on Daniel James Brown's 2012 novel of the same name Set during the Great Depression, the film tells the touching true story of a University of Washington men's boat team that won a gold medal at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin
