iPad Pro2021 Leak revealed big upgrade

New detailed 3D models have leaked the design of the upcoming iPad Pro

These CAD renderings were released by 91Mobiles and MySmartPrice, both apparently obtained from reliable anonymous sources along with some minor exterior changes, along with upgrades

91Mobiles' rendering is of a larger 129-inch version of the iPad Pro This rendering shows that the new iPad will have a slimmer bezel, but it is difficult to judge from this illustration alone, especially since the image is not shown to scale

The MySmartPrice rendering, while superficially similar, appears to be a smaller 11-inch model More details about the tablet's size are given, with exact dimensions of 24574 x 17661 x 590 mm, or 97 x 69 x 023 inches In other words, the new model will be the same thickness as the 2020 iPad Pro, but slightly smaller in height and width, confirming 91Mobiles' point that Apple is shrinking the bezels

Much of what we can see is still the same as the 2020 iPad Pro There's Face ID on the top bezel, a USB-C port on the bottom edge, and a square camera bump on the back, with a main camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a LiDAR depth sensor There is also a Smart Connector on the back, and this new iPad will continue to work with the Magic Keyboard accessory that Apple introduced last year

One change that is expected to be included in the next iPad Pro, but does not appear in the CAD images, is the addition of a 5G-capable A14 chipset iPad Pro is intended to be Apple's most powerful tablet, and since the current iPad Air already uses the A14 chip so we can probably expect an improved "A14X" chip to keep the Pro model at the top of the benchmark leaderboard

We may also see the return of Touch ID to complement the Face ID system as an alternative unlock method The home button is gone, but we imagine the iPad Pro could use the same power button-mounted sensor that the iPad Air uses

Finally, the display may also get a major upgrade Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPad Pro will be one of the first Apple products to use mini LEDs, an evolution of existing LCD panels that offer crisper, more vibrant colors Kuo also expects the new iPad Pro to arrive in the first quarter of 2021
