Apple Announces Season 2 of “Severance” to be Released Tomorrow, Teases Countdown for All to Participate

For those of you counting down to “Severance” Season 2, Apple has teased big news. On Tuesday, a placeholder video of tomorrow's all-hands-on-deck “Severance” meeting was uploaded to the official Apple TV Plus YouTube account.

The “Severance” presentation will begin tomorrow, October 23, at 9 a.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

“Quell thy wrath,” says the video description, and given that it's been more than two years since the “Severance” finale, fans will be waiting with baited breath to see what new revelations this all-hands-on-deck assembly will bring.

But even if it ends up being a trailer for Season 2, it won't be the first time we see the next installment of what is technically one of the best shows on Apple TV Plus. Over the summer, a 30-second montage scene was released along with a release date for Season 2. It didn't answer many questions, but it certainly whetted our appetite for what Lumin Industries and Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott, would do next. Another short teaser trailer gave us a glimpse of what to expect from “Severance” Season 2.

As Apple has already confirmed, the release date for “Severance” Season 2 on Apple TV Plus is January 17, 2025. In the meantime, be sure to check out our hub for seven questions “Severance” Season 2 should answer and all the rumors and news surrounding Apple's highly anticipated return of the hit sci-fi drama.
