Looks like Apple TV Plus is getting another great show Just days after “Slingshot” Season 2 debuted with a high score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, “Slow Horse” Season 4, for reference, received rave reviews from early critics
Certainly, this is no great shock, as the British spy thriller is already highly acclaimed, both in our Tom's Guide and elsewhere; it has happily made Apple TV Plus' list of best shows, and RT has given it a perfect 100% score in the past, including a perfect 100% in season 2 All three seasons have maintained at least a 95% (or better) score
People keep asking me why I haven't seen it, and given the accolades so far, I decided to watch all 18 episodes of “Slow Horses” so far in one sitting, just ahead of last week's rerun
And seeing as one of the early responses claims “the best of the show yet,” it seems we are in for another killer season of television when “Slow Horses” premieres on Wednesday, September 4 Below is our first review of “Slow Horses” Season 4
As of this writing, nine “Slow Horses” Season 4 episodes have been tallied by Rotten Tomatoes Certainly not a large sample size, but all nine critics have great things to say about the show's new chapter
Sean Boelman, writing for FandomWire, gave the series a 9/10, calling it “the best yet, boasting the most exciting and complex story I've ever seen” He also said that the series finale “is as epic as you would expect, perhaps even more epic than past seasons”
Empire's James Dyer gave “Slow Horses” Season 4 a four-star rating, praising it as “darkly funny and tighter than the buttons on (Jackson) Lamb's sauce-covered shirt,” adding: “Apple's unconventional and brilliant spy This is another outstanding season for the series”
