ambidextrous with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, "Wolfs" is now available to stream on Apple TV Plus after pivoting from its broad theatrical release
Initially, it was one of the (many) movies I've been looking forward to in the last few months of the year, but I have to admit, as I streamed it before it debuted on Friday 1/9/27 I'm a bit disappointed
I was expecting a pretty fun caper, but by the time I rolled the credits on "Wolfs," Marvel alum Jon Watts' latest effort was pretty shallow It's a passable streaming watch, but only managed to get a handful of laughs from me
In most cases, it would probably fill the night if you're in the mood for a mediocre slice of Apple TV Plus content that trades in the obvious charisma shared by its two lead stars as their evening spiral becomes increasingly out of control; its quippy exchange and occasional flurry of action But I could be in the minority; It's got a 73% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes for now, so there's every chance you might enjoy it
That aside, if the movie makes you feel equally disappointed, I've compiled a list of seven movies like "Wolfs"
If you prefer your action comedy a bit more, well, in action, 2024's "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" needs to be streamed as soon as possible The latest installment of the high-octane franchise, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, has received a stellar critical response Although not received, it performs very well with audiences and it is also the 10th highest-grossing film of the year in Monster competition from films like "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Inside Out 2"
In the fourth outing of the boys, our two Miami detectives set out to clear the name of the late Captain Howard linked to the drug cartel If you want an enthusiastic, action-packed watch for your next movie night, it's the one to watch

"Game Night" may not seem like an obvious pick compared to "Wolfs," but let me explain The former is an ensemble action comedy, but both are inherently unruly crime capers, and both largely rely on the front and rear and charisma of their respective cast to move the story forward The difference "Game Night" is so interesting and has a much more wild set-up
"Game Night" sees Max (Jason Bateman) and Annie (Rachel McAdams) take their weekly game nights to the next level With the intention of showing off his brother Max, Brooks (Kyle Chandler) arranges a quirky night full of fake kidnappers who take him away
As the whole gang tries to solve the case, it soon becomes clear that their night has darkened, and as they try to fix things, they continue to face fresh twists and trials Bateman and McAdams are real winning combos here, but the whole thing is silly and screwball fun that keeps you laughing until the credits roll

Let's face it, you're talking about action comedy The second part of Edgar Wright's energetic and brilliant "Cornet" trilogy "Hot Fuzz" follows police officer Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) who cracks from the streets of London to the quiet town of Sandford, Gloucestershire
Because his work in the city was too good, he was reassigned to a sleepy village that trades in catching criminals to chase swans But when a gruesome death/"accident" starts trimming across town, he suspects foul play and pulls his amiable, new partner Danny Butterman (Nick Frost) into an investigation
It's a moving, hilarious action movie inspired by some of the best of the genre, and it remains interesting no matter how many times you watch it

If the main reason we wanted to stream "Wolfs" was to watch Brad Pitt and George Clooney bounce back at each other, we can't go wrong with Steven Soderbergh's uber-slick2001 remake of the Rat Pack classic After all, for a reason appeared on our list of the best Brad Pitt and George Clooney collaborations: It's a great watch
The film sees Danny Ocean (Clooney) recruit his best friend Rusty (Pitt) and assemble a crack team for a very specific mission Danny wants to rob 3 Las Vegas casinos and walk away with115,000 Why? Now, casino boss Terry Benedict (Andy Garcia) is dating Danny's ex・wife (Julia Roberts) It is smooth, tasteful fun and still stands as one of the pair's strongest outings (and if you enjoy it, be a sequel to streaming

Shane Black's "Nice Guy" is well known as my favorite movie ever) It could be an action comedy Acting as a throwback to the classic buddy comedy, this 1970s-set flick pairs Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling as the hapless private detective Holland Marsh (Gosling) and the heavily armed executioner, Jackson Healy (Crowe) And it's a comedy game made in heaven
When adult movie stars are alleged to have died by suicide, after their paths have crossed, Marsh and Healy are drawn into a spiral case that depicts them in Amelia (Margaret Qualley) When Amelia disappears, it becomes clear that the heroes are involved in a much larger incident than expected
Thanks to the light and refreshing screenplay, it boasts a lot of laughs, but it's still packed into some solid action scenes It's an absolute blast, and if you don't have it yet, you should check it out

Adam McKay's "Other man" team has two jobbing, desk・bound detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell) working within the NYPD while Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are perfectly happy to sit behind a desk , Terry Hoyts (Wahlberg) is not so comfortable Hoyts is desperate to get back there and break the big case
White・collar criminal, Sir David Arshon (Steve Coogan) enter the British multi・millionaire When the pair begin investigating Erson's minor scaffolding violations, they run into a much bigger scandal It's a silly gagfest that packs a lot of diversity in the joke department and makes you laugh to the end

OK, yes, "The unbearable weight of massive talent" is a far more silly movie, but it's one hell of a chaotic ride, more than "The Wolf"
In "The Unbearable weight of Massive talent" we have a struggling actor Nicholas Cage (himself) You will meet a lot of people (playing) Cage is also less fortunate professionally, and his family life has not gotten much better
But out of the Blue he receives a killer offer from his agent just as he plans to retire: a guest of honor at the birthday party of Billionaire Playboy (and Nick Cage Superfan) Javier Gutierrez (Pedro Pascal) in Majorca Take a gig as a host The pair quickly form a fierce bond But soon you find yourself getting wrapped up in a world of wounds as the criminal background of Habi catches up with him
