I love anything to do with time travel This oft-used storytelling device has endless possibilities and is ideal for branching films filled with interesting twists and turns So when I heard that Netflix was releasing a new time-travel horror thriller later this month, my interest was certainly piqued

The film is titled “Time Cut,” and thanks to the just-released trailer, I was able to learn about this Netflix project for the first time Curiously, this streaming original is reminiscent of Prime Video's “Totally Killer,” which appeared last October But there is plenty of room for multiple time-travel slashers in the streaming world, so the obvious similarities do not detract from my excitement

If you're already planning a Halloween movie marathon, this is one Netflix production you might want to consider adding to the mix Lucy Field (Madison Bailey) is a high school senior haunted by the past; 20 years ago, her older sister Summer (Antonia Gentry) was murdered by a masked killer, and this tragic event caused a crack in Lucy's life that not even time could heal

However, being a scientific genius, she discovers a time machine and travels back in time to 2003 to prevent her sister's murder and uncover the identity of the unknown killer Madison races against the clock to save her sister
