If you head to the woods today, you're sure to be in for a big surprise thanks to “Exploring Bigfoot” Season 5

Dr Mireya Mayor and Bigfoot guru Russell Acord scour the California wilderness in search of the world's most mysterious cryptids

Mireya and her crew, using high-tech kits and DNA sampling, head to Northern California's Lost Coast, rumored to be a “breeding ground,” to locate nesting sites and track down what appears to be a family of Bigfoot I won't spoil the story, but the film crew's Reddit postings suggest that there are a few hairy surprises in store

Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch, Yeti, Wood Ape, and Treeman) has existed in folklore for centuries; as with the authenticity of the famous Patterson/Gimlin footage taken at Bluff Creek in 1967, DNA hair samples remain inconclusive It is not conclusive But if he is just a man in a suit, why do his thigh muscles ripple like those of a real ape?

The 2024 season of “Expedition Bigfoot” probably won't provide many answers, but it will be interesting to see what the team comes up with
