With July underway, more new shows premiere this week on Netflix, Max, and other streaming services, as well as on broadcast and cable channels

Sharks are the star of this week's new programming lineup, with NatGeo's "SharkFest" airing all month on cable, Disney Plus, and Hulu, and Discovery's "Shark Week" starting this weekend It's a great time to be a shark fan

Also on the schedule is "Sprint," a sports docu-series about elite-level runners, and reruns of the animated "Star Trek: Prodigy" Here are the top new shows to check out this week

National Geographic has decided that one week of shark-related content is not enough (see below for details on Discovery's annual Shark Week) and has expanded it to a full month Sharkfest will feature more than 22 hours of original programming and 60 hours of enhanced content on National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, ESPN2, Disney Plus, and Hulu Highlights include "Shark Beach with Anthony Mackie: Gulf Coast," "Baby Sharks in the City," and "Shark Attack 360"

Premiering Monday, July 1 at 3:00 am ET on Disney Plus and Hulu
