After multiple closed technical tests, it has been confirmed that the next Halo Infinite multiplayer preview will be available to all Xbox players However, PC players will need to qualify as Halo Insiders to participate
While last weekend's and summer's multiplayer previews required Halo Insider status and email selection, this technical test will not have the same restrictions for Xbox players: Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or Xbox One, as long as you own one, you'll be the first to experience the highly anticipated shooter this weekend
For now, PC players still need to sign up for the Halo Insider program However, Halo community director Brian Jarrad said on Twitter that developer 343 is working on a solution that would allow more Steam players to participate Presumably, this will allow PC players to play without an invite
Last weekend's multiplayer preview gave players the opportunity to try out the 4vs4 arena mode on a small number of maps This weekend's test is primarily dedicated to the 12vs12 Big Team Battle mode The number of available maps has not yet been announced, but is expected to include a smaller selection; 4vs4 arenas will again be playable, as well as a variety of training and weapon drills
No additional codes or sign-ups are required to participate in this weekend's "Halo Infinite" multiplayer preview, but the Xbox Insider Hub app is required
The app can be downloaded from the Xbox Store on consoles or the Microsoft Store on PCs Search for Xbox Insider in either digital store and the app will appear in the first search results
Once the Xbox Insider Hub app is installed on the selected platform, you will need to search for "Halo Infinite" and the option to participate in a multiplayer preview will be available
The "Halo Infinite" multiplayer preview will run from Friday, October 1 through Sunday, October 3 Games will be playable from 7 am to 11 am ET and 2 pm to 6 pm ET on all three days
