Overheating your bed or sweating in the middle of the night can quickly disrupt your sleep, making you sleep deprived and tired the next day, and Sleepme, parent company of ChiliSleep, is introducing its latest solution at CES 2022: a cooling mattress pad with Sleep System Dock Pro

Named ChiliPad Pro, the machine-washable pad features Hydrolayer technology to provide a cooler sleep experience Available in queen, king, and cal king sizes, each size has an ME version (for one person covering one side of the bed) and a WE version (a dual-zone design for two people covering the entire bed)

Designed with a hydrolayer membrane, the tubeless Chili Pad Pro is much slimmer than a mattress topper and stretches to fit mattresses from 8" to 18" deep Circulation and cooling are controlled by a separate unit with a built-in 600 ml water reservoir, which is placed under or beside the bed

Fans of Eight Sleep's Eight Sleep Pod cooling and heating mattresses (Eight Sleep's prices start at $2,295) will be familiar with this approach, but the main feature of the Sleepme Doc Pro is its automatic temperature operation

When paired with sleepme+ (an app-based digital sleep coach), the brand's AI automatically changes the bed temperature based on near-real-time sleep data to optimize it for you

Concerned about noise? Sleepme says the Dock Pro is quieter than previous models, at about 41-46 decibels

The Sleepme+ service allows the Dock Pro to be paired with the brand's Insight under-mattress sleep tracker The device also measures heart rate, respiration rate, and bed temperature

The app also has various sleep health articles, and the brand promises personalized sleep training guides and resources based on your unique snooze data It also offers daily sleep reports with suggestions on how to sleep better and how to get ready for bedtime
