stated that "Nintendo has chosen an OLED screen for the new Switch Pro because OLED offers the advantages of high contrast and fast response time"

The transcript, discovered by a Spawn Wave Twitter user, also mentions Samsung Display, and curiously, the possibility that the next Nintendo Switch console will feature a Samsung 7-inch OLED display This was after a series of rumors surrounding

"Samsung Display announced that it will aggressively expand its OLED presence in the gaming, smartphone, and laptop markets

Currently, Samsung is one of many companies working with Universal Display Corp on OLED technology used in flagship devices

Nintendo has not confirmed the above exactly, so we cannot yet take this as official confirmation However, when so many rumors coincide with an investor conference call, one has to wonder if an official announcement is on the way

However, Nintendo has recently teased its "next platform" after the Switch, making it almost certain that the company is working on a new gaming console However, it is unclear whether the console in question is an upgraded version of the existing Nintendo Switch console or if the company is planning an entirely new device
