If you're like me, you're much more likely to get new technology if it has a shiny gold finish That's why I can't stop thinking about the gold-plated version of Motorola's Razr that leaked less than a month before the folding phone was released
Evan Blass, a notorious leaker on Twitter, published several images of the never-before-seen gold Razr on Verizon's website, where the $1,499 Razr is listed for pre-order, and the new phone is only available in black
Blass' tweet did not divulge any details about the gold Razr beyond aesthetics, so it is likely that the stylish variant will sport the same specifications as the "noir black" clamshell The Moto Razr is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, 128GB of storage, and a 62-inch foldable OLED display
We can't confirm the existence of this brilliant gold phone, but perhaps Motorola is waiting to gauge interest in the Razr (launching March 3) before expanding its color choices
Next week, Samsung is expected to announce a similar looking foldable called the Galaxy Z Flip This device is expected to have a larger display and improved durability compared to the Galaxy Fold However, if it doesn't have a glossy finish, it probably won't be of interest
