The Disney Plus bundle has one problem: all the commercials on Hulu Thankfully, Disney is rolling out a new streaming bundle that includes ad-free Hulu
Right now, you can get Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Hulu (ad-free) for $1899/month This is a $6 savings over signing up for these services separately This upgraded bundle is offered just one month before Disney Plus announces its price increase
The company has offered discounts to Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and ad-supported Hulu purchases since Disney Plus launched in November 2019 This will be the first moment they promote it
A few months ago, they quietly introduced an option with Hulu (ad-free) to some subscribers and are now making it more widely available
Apart from this, Disney Plus is $699 per month, ESPN Plus is $599 per month, and Hulu (ad-free) is $1199 per month, for a total of $25 per month The new bundle offers all three services for $1899/month Eligible subscribers can sign up through Hulu or Disney Plus
Previously, subscribers to the bundle could not upgrade to ad-free Hulu and had to endure commercials while watching Hulu shows and movies Now, there is an option to skip (most) of these ads
(I say "most" because some shows still play commercials for various licensing and financial contractual reasons)
Also, those who want to watch live TV, including broadcast channels and cable networks, can sign up for the Hulu With Live TV, Disney Plus, and ESPN Plus bundles for $7199, a $7 savings
All these bundles are, likely to be a bit more expensive starting in March when Disney Plus increases from $699 to $799 per month
This is Disney's way of attracting more users to its services; at Investors Day in December, the company reported that Disney Plus had 86 million subscribers and Hulu had over 36 million Netflix, meanwhile, announced last month that it had surpassed 200 million subscribers worldwide
